My standard fee is $220 for a 50 minutes session. Sometimes, people want to extend their session, rather than waiting until their next meeting. If my schedule permits it, I will make all efforts to accommodate your request.
I’m not on any insurance panels. However, if you have a PPO, I can provide a “superbill,” which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
I believe counseling should be affordable for everyone. Thus, I reserve some sessions for reduced fee clients. When we speak initially on the phone we will discuss your fee. Please feel free to ask me about my reduced rates at that time.
My office is centrally located in the heart of Midtown, at the corner of 28th and O. I’m a few minutes’ drive from Business 80 and a brief walk away from several restaurants and a coffee house.
The most significant predictor of successful therapy is the relationship that forms between counselor and counselee. This begins with our initial telephone conversation. If you feel comfortable during our talk it’s a good sign that you’ll feel similarly when we meet face-to-face at your initial session.
In compliance with the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good
Faith Estimate” explaining how much your counseling will cost.
Under the law, when asked, health care providers must give clients who don’t
have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected
charges for counseling services.
You can ask your counselor for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a
service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you
can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith
Estimate.
