For those of you who missed it, this is the link from my webinar last week on College Week Live, in which I advise parents on coping with the pressure and stress senior year and the first year of college can put on the entire family.
For those of you who have children approaching college, it’s worth checking out collegeweeklive.com, which is an on-line college fair. I know it’s overwhelmingly time-consuming and expensive to visit colleges, and this is a good resource for narrowing down your choices a bit. It’s free, too! No harm in checking-it-out.
I presented during “All Access Day,” which was a comprehensive, full-day of presentations for parents on topics such as: financial aid, the importance of letters of recommendation, schools with the best return on investment, athletic scholarships, etc.
This is the first time I’ve been on a live webcast, and it was a fabulous experience. I’m grateful that I conquered my anxiety and (I think) actually made some sense. I’m looking forward to doing something similar in the future. Thanks for checking it out!
